The Pulse Beats Once More

After rumours last week about a discovered Final Fantasy XIII-2 website, Square Enix officially announced the game at the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere press event. Not only is the game in the works, but it must be a fair way into production already as the game has been slated for a 2011 release. So presuming we don't see any delays, we'll be seeing the 2nd true Final Fantasy sequel hit shelves before the end of the year.

  1. Why can't things like this just learn to stay dead. FF XIII was shit (much like the series) and I think they are just grasping at straws.
That and I'm bias as hell but still...

  2. Actually as of mid last year, Final Fantasy XIII had sold over 5 million copies and was declared the fastest selling title in the series. Apart from a handful of reviews released within a day of the game being released, it now holds mostly positive feedback from both players and critics... Final Fantasy XIV on the other hand? Yeah, there's one Square would rather forget.

  4. yeah, but the reviews currently rank it higher than Golden Sun: Dark Dawn... Don't knock it till you've tried it.
