May 1st is Free Comic Book Day. What this means is that by stopping by your local comic shop you can pick up a special comic or two... Absolutely free. Not all shops are participating and the freebies are set to specific comics, But free is free. For West Aussies I'd recommend stopping by Cosmic Comics in Rockingham or Quality Comics on Hay Street in the city. South Aussies should check out Dynamic Duo Comics (AKA Adelaide Comic Arcade) in Rundle Mall.
