X-com was a series of PC games released throughout the nineties... Now it's coming back for a FPS reboot.
Still don't know a whole lot about the new game, but a trailer was shown at E3 and the game is being handled by 2K Marin (who has so far been handling thing's on the Bioshock series). The original series was about a covert military group called X-Com (Extraterrestrial Combat Unit) who had to capture and research alien technology in the hopes of combating a hostile alien force attempting to invade earth. So while the story and gameplay may not seem to be very original, the trailer definitely showed some interesting gameplay and a great visual style that makes certain i'll be keeping an eye out for this game in the future.
