Epic (AKA Legendary)

I wasn't really going to worry about this but seeing as how I've been called on it *cough* MIKE *cough*, Here are the details on the many editions of Halo: Reach that will be available. (click 'read more' for full details)

The standard edition of Reach will retail for a little under $100 and contain the game... well what else did you expect?

The limited edition will sell for about $120 and contain the game in a special 'ONI Recovered Black Box' package, An exclusive set of Elite Armour for use in multiplayer and an 'Artifact Bag' containing Dr. Halsey's personal journal and other document's that will help explain some of the back story in the Halo universe.

The legendary edition will contain everything found in the limited edition but also comes with an exclusive set of Spartan armour, More custom packaging (UNSC themed) and what you're really paying the big bucks for... A statue of Noble Team, created by the great people at MacFarlane Toys (the people who make all the halo 3 action figures). Each statue is hand molded, painted and individually numbered. The big bucks i mentioned is the legendary price tag of roughly $200.

So all in all, People just wanting to play the game should probably stick to the standard edition, People who like having actual material possessions to go with games might want to check out the limited edition and hardcore Halo fans (and anyone who got the Halo 3 legendary edition) will no doubt be willing to throw down the cash for the highly collectible legendary edition.

  3. *exclusive to EB games* - just a heads up it's not exclusive.

  4. My apologies, This is correct... Legendary is NOT exclusive to EB, But it's unlikely general retail stores (such as Target, Big w, K-Mart, etc) will stock it. Post has been edited to reflect this.
