Waiting In The Shadows

If you were looking forward to The Darkness 2 then you'll have to look forward a little further. It would seem that the sequel to 2007's quad-wielding shooter based on a graphic novel has been delayed a few months and will now be stepping into the light come February next year. This means it will no longer release around the same time as many other gaming heavyweights such as CoD, Battlefield and Skyrim but rather extend out the xmas release schedule along with Final Fantasy XIII-2 which is now confirmed to be releasing in January.

Two Worlds Collide

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is shaping up to be the fighting game of the year (or, best fighting game since Street Fighter 4) and it looks to be aiming for a launch early next year. The official word is Spring 2011 (March-May) but Gamestop are advertising the release date as February 15th. Either way, a collectors edition has also been confirmed for the U.S. which includes:

• Steelbook Case featuring Exclusive Artwork
• Prequel Comic
• Two Character DLC-Card (Jill Valentine & Shuma Gorath)
• 1 Month Subscription to Marvel Digital Comics

Portal 2 has been given a new release date of early February 2011... also, the voice of Wheatley (The personality sphere) has been confirmed as Stephen Merchant (Co-Creator of the british series of The Office and general british comedian).
